Release Business Shame Now

marthas_vineyard_3

I got back from a beautiful vacation on Martha’s Vineyard over a week ago and boy, was it hard to get back into the swing of things!

In fact, it took me a whole week to be able to ease into even wanting to begin to think about strategizing next steps and planning, and to put my mind into my work. I just wanted to continue the slow pace and lazy days.

And this time, instead of beating myself up over it, I DID ease myself into it at my own pace. In the past, I would have scolded myself that I really should have been ready to get back into it, thinking about the time I’m wasting etc.

I’m sharing this with you because we as entrepreneurs tend to compare ourselves to others continuously and to feel ashamed if we feel that other people don’t go through these things.

Don’t do it. That simple.

And we don’t honor pace. Nobody works at the same pace all of the time. That would be inhuman.

There a bunch of other things we feel ashamed about and this shame becomes a growing knot in our hearts.

I know. I’ve been there. And I continually work at not letting myself get caught up in this game.

Now, I’m not saying to just procrastinate and not address that if it’s a habit you have gotten into, but to not shame yourself when this or anything else is going on.

If you are procrastinating, there is other stuff deep down going on, and you need to do some soul-searching and investigation and to be compassionate with yourself to get to to the bottom of it…without all the shamin’!

So, today I’m going to show you how to:

Release Business Shame

Whenever you want to experience a huge breakthrough in your business, you have to start where you are.

Right. Where. You. Are.

We all know that logically, this is the only place to start. And that every single successful entrepreneur did not start already far along in their success.

You may be disappointed that you’re not making more money at this point in your biz. If you’re just starting out you might be on pins and needles because you need to make money ASAP. Maybe you just quit your job and your significant other is on your back about the finances. Or you know you’re charging too little and working too much.

Whatever is happening in your business right now needs to be acknowledged on an emotional level.

Breathe. And acknowledge what’s really eating you up and causing that knot in your chest and stomach.

Then own it.

Take responsibility. Say to yourself, “Yeah, this is how I’m feeling. I created my results where I am right now. Here I am. It is what it is. And so what?

Surrender to what is. With no judgment or beating yourself up. Did I already mention that’s not a good thing?

So what if you’ve been struggling to manifest your business goals?
So what if it’s taking longer than you thought?
So what if you’ve had to borrow money from your retirement funds or family?
So what if you’re working too hard?
So what if you have fear about selling?
So what if you’ve been rejected?
So what if you used to make more than this in a corporate job?
So what if you’re in debt up to your eyeballs?

What do your results mean about you and where you are right now?

That you weren’t aligned with what you wanted. That’s it. Period. You’re still smart, capable, talented, give amazing value and have what it takes to create a hyper profitable business which you have FUN with.

Life happens to everyone (this includes taking vacation). Take some time to release any shame or drama or stories you have built up in your mind about where you are or where you’ve been. Or what this all means about your future success or failure.

The worst thing you can do for building your business and increasing profits is being caught up in negative and limiting thoughts and putting yourself through this self-punishment … over and over.

It is what it is. So what do you do now?

This is what.

You’re about to get back your profit explosion M.O. (or get one for the first time) by taking back your power and taking control of your outcomes. No more being smothered in the past or letting these thoughts or where you have been or where you are, color your future.

After owning where you are and feeling it in your body and then letting the thoughts go, this is what.

Just take ONE step. And do ONE thing. And then once that step is taken, you take another, and another. Don’t think about the millions of things you have to do to get where you are going. Just take one step. But you need to take that one action.

And before you know it, you are running.

I know that sometimes finding this first starting point is the hardest, especially after you have been spinning for a while and living in your even growing “story” of what’s going on, so I am offering a very special discounted session (only $50) to only 5 people who could really use my help.
